NH3, Ammonia Analyzer
Ammonia (NH3) is usually present as an impurity in the polymerization process of refined products from crude oil distillates that are used to manufacture a variety of plastics. When this contamination occurs, the catalyst must be regenerated or replaced. This is a very expensive procedure in terms of time, chemicals, and production losses. To avoid catalyst contamination, a reliable, accurate measurement of ammonia is desirable so that it can be handled by the refiner.
